A low-budget film about a father who's proffession is unknown to his 3 daughters. He is a don in the BMF (Black Mafia Family) in New York. But his family is about to find out, as some lowgrade criminals want to take his spot at the top.
Adolph Sinclair is one of the most powerful and influential men in the city of Detroit. He is also the head of the Black Mafia. After his three daughters find out about their husbands' involvement in the "family business" the Sinclairs' find themselves involved in a fight for the preservation of the family business as well as the preservation of the family legacy. But, who are the Sinclair's at war against? Is it Frankie Gambino and the Italian Mafia who are eager to take over the drug trade from Adolph? Is it Abdul Al-Kharafi the Middle Eastern Mob Boss and the one responsible for starting the war amongst the families 15 years ago? Or will the federal government and local law enforcement officials finally uncover the evidence needed for a conviction of the Mafia bosses? Adolph, Frankie and Abdul are all in for a surprise as they figure out the hard way who is loyal to their mafia family, who must die because of betrayal and who is really in control of the drug trade in the city of Detroit.
Most data and links to images for the Movies section come from TheMovieDB (TMDB).
Additional data for Film Titles come from The Open Movie Database (OMDb).
At least one plug-in comes from IMDb.
Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:
Regarding profile removals and data corrections:
Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
