Dr.Ramesh is on the run from police having fled from the scene of murder shown red handed killing his sister's ( Jayalakshmi, as Rekha) rapist played by Ambarish. He meets up with Sandhya ( Arathi) also a runaway bride from her home in a lonely Railway station on a rainy night. Witha white saree clad woman singing a haunting song, this makes the setting very eerie for the two strangers.They learn slowly who they are and iy looks tye hands of destiny bare actove to make the betrothed hero and heroine meet thus.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
