Overview from Open Movies

Simon Schuetze is married to Lisa and also the boss of his wife's company. In order to escape to the Carribian with his girlfriend Evelyn, Simon puts aside money of the company. When his fraud is about to be revealed, the whole plan has to be finished rapidly. Thus, Simon tries to blackmail his wife: Sending photos of himself with a young girl to Lisa he tries to get 500,000 Deutschmarks. But Lisa finds out that it is Simon who tries to blackmail her and she starts to fight to win him back.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
