Here's a slightly shortened version that keeps all key details and emotional beats intact: --- Shinichi Koda (ISSA), president of Koda Construction, continued his retaliation against the Aoi-kai by taking down their Tobita and Nashida factions. In response, Aoi-kai began sending assassins after him. The Saeki-gumi, also under Aoi-kai, kidnapped Kamata (Mizuho Takasugi), a former member now with Koda Construction, hoping to provoke a confrontation. However, their plan failed, and Shinichi successfully rescued Kamata. Enraged, Saeki sent another assassin—this time, Mikami Isao (DAICHI) jumped in to shield Shinichi and was shot in his place. Though rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, tragedy had struck—Shinichi had lost a comrade. Overwhelmed by guilt, Shinichi prepares for the next stage: the final showdown with the Aoi-kai… and the looming confrontation with his older brother, Toshikazu (Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi). The story of the brave men enters a new chapter.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
