Noah, from a wealthy family, has faced immense personal tragedy. His mother’s suicide after discovering his father's affair deeply scarred him. Later, Noah’s lover Ian disappeared, and an accident left him with a permanent leg injury, ending his acting career. Resentful and bitter, he struggles with his past. After his mother's death, his father remarried Eliza, who favored her son Justin, worsening Noah's resentment. Noah despises his father's quick remarriage and his strained relationship with the family. When Eliza tries to set Noah up with Jared, he refuses, disgusted by Jared's character. Meanwhile, Noah plans to sabotage Justin's arranged marriage to Ivan, aiming to seduce Ivan and steal him away. Ivan, who has no romantic feelings for Justin, secretly engages in an affair with Noah, keeping their relationship hidden. Noah finds satisfaction in the secret betrayal.

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
