'Tall Poppies' focuses the fallout of the 1998 Lancet MMR autism fraud. A research paper by British physician Andrew Wakefield that falsely claimed that the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella Vaccine (MMR) caused autism in children. As director Michael Woods is on the spectrum, the film focuses on the fraud's impact on people on the spectrum and how we live in a world.
