An 18 year old orphan girl who is about to graduate from university comes to the city and lives with her estranged school teacher, who has been living under her abusive husband for over 20 years. Reflecting on the 20 years she has spent under her husband's strict gaze, her view of men changes when a young student starts living in the room next door. Despondent, she decides to accept her fate and grow old, but falls in love with the young man next door.
