A young couple in a foreign country. Ngoc is pregnant, but before she gives birth to her child, the child’s father, Vu, has to go away to fight in the war. The son grows up without his father. Ngoc tries to play down Vu’s absence by allowing his shadow to travel across the wall every night. However, there is a tragic end to her shadowplay.
