Rie, a housewife, spends lonely days without her husband taking care of her. One day, a middle-aged woman, Mitsuko, visits Rie's house to sell mourning clothes. Rie tries to refuse, but after being forced to try it on by Mitsuko, Mitsuko says, "You haven't been with your husband recently, have you?"
