The Legend of Mary is a puppetry short film that tells the story of the virgin Mary and the nativity. featuring the rod puppets of master puppeteer Richard Teschner, the short was filmed by Bruno Lötch in 1935 and screened in several cinemas in Vienna. In 1949, after the death of Richard Teschner, Kolm-Veltee produced a version of Legend of Mary for English-speaking European and American audiences. Featuring new audio and soundtrack such as a voice-over narration provided by Alice Lyon and music by Franz Fridel.
