In the early years of the Republic of China, the Institute of Biology of the Northwest Science Society received a mysterious letter, learning that there were mutant creatures infesting the sandy sea, so they sent an exploration team to the biology laboratory, but they were almost wiped out. Liu Mengxi (played by Xiao Bo) and Xia Xuan (played by Yu Xinyan) escaped as survivors with the samples, but they met the agency in Sand Dune Town. The samples were damaged and exhausted. The two of them found that almost only old, weak, sick and disabled were left in Sand Dune Town, and outside the town, the monster seemed to have heard something and was quietly approaching Sand Dune Town...

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Regarding profile removals and data corrections:

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
