The film is based on the history of the birth of the Lenin, the first plane of the Red Army, and is based on the time when the children's league was born, and the time when they shot down and wounded 114 enemy planes and produced a dozen famous air force combat heroes such as Wang Hai and Sun Shenglu. The film is based on the youth of many of the founding generals of the Dabie Mountains, including Gao Houliang, political commissar of the Third Air Division of the Volunteer Army, and was filmed over three years.
