Chen Xian Qi, the editor of a small fashion magazine, has misplaced a diamond the magazine had borrowed. She thought the intern Xiao Jia You had picked it up but was mistaken. When Xian Qi tracks down Jia You, she fails to recoup the diamond, loses her job and faces an onerous debt for its replacement. Just as Xian Qi becomes desperate, she inherits a mysterious bracelet wielding some magical powers. Somehow the two women wind up renting a two-bedroom apartment together. Once disliking each other, now they must forge a relationship as roommates. Using the powers of the bracelet, they set out to help others. They will experience many things as their hearts get closer.   • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
