Mexican actor, director, producer and host. His career began in 1984 in the film ¡¡Cachún cachún cachún ra-ra! (Una loca, loca, preparatoria) and later made his television debut in the telenovela Vivir un poco for the Televisa network. In 1988 she obtained her first starring role in Amor en silencio, which earned her the recognition of the public and critics. In 1989 she got her first starring role in Cuando llega el amor. In 1995 he obtained his first starring role in Si dios me quita la vida and after finishing that project he left the ranks of Televisa to go to Colombia to join the ranks of Caracol Television of Colombia in the leading role in La sombra del deseo. Three years later he returned to Mexico and joined the ranks of TV Azteca, obtaining leading roles in Tentaciones, Tres veces Sofía and then debuted as a host and producer of television programs, both contests and cooking.  In 2018 he returned to acting again to the ranks of Televisa to participate in telenovelas with the starring role in Hijas de la luna, a Nicandro Díaz production.

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
