A work in constant progress (and occasional regress).
Peter Yip is a UK-based art director and draughtsperson. Based in Watford, near London, he transitioned into the screen industries after nearly two decades working in architecture and structural engineering. Holding a BSc in Architecture & Engineering from the University of Westminster and an MA in Architecture from Southbank University, he also pursued fashion photography studies at Central Saint Martins. Over the past several years, Peter Yip has held various roles in the art department on prominent productions. He worked as Lead Draughtsperson on Netflix's Bridgerton Season 2 from March 2020 to November 2021, under the supervision of production designer Will Hughes-Jones. He then served as a Draughtsperson on the cancelled Beauty & The Beast prequel television series for Disney+ in late 2021, followed by a role as Senior Draughtsperson on Netflix's The Diplomat early in 2022. He then took on the role of Art Director for My Lady Jane for Amazon Prime Video from March 2022 to February 2023. Subsequently, he worked as Assistant Art Director on the Amazon feature film Heads of State from February to July 2023, and on the Apple TV+ series Season 2 of Silo from November 2023 to March 2024. He served as Art Director on the untitled Jack Ryan Amazon MGM feature from August 2024 to May 2025 and on Marvel Studios' untitled Vision series from May 2025 to July 2025. He is a member of the British Film Designers Guild.

Most data and links to images for the Movies section come from TheMovieDB (TMDB).
Additional data for Film Titles come from The Open Movie Database (OMDb).
At least one plug-in comes from IMDb.
Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:
Regarding profile removals and data corrections:
Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
Whether or not he still clings to an award which he won in 1986 as a film critic for his college's newspaper, Jeffrey Hartmann is not responsible for the texts of overviews and biographies supplied by external data sources.
