Lizzie is an entrepreneurial producer with significant experience in raising private finance and business management. She financed and produced her debut feature film in the early days of SEIS and the film went on to received a home-ent release with Netflix and Amazon Prime. Following this success, Lizzie produced Dan Hodgson’s short film LOVE IS BLIND which was nominated for a Palme d’Or in Cannes and Best British Short at the BIFAS whilst touring festivals worldwide, securing multi-territory distribution and amassing over 250,000 views online as a Vimeo Staff Pick of the Year. Together with Emily, Lizzie has successfully secured financial backing for Bird Flight Films by a private investor and was awarded the the BFI Vision Award in 2020. Lizzie was mentored by Neal Street's Pippa Harris (1917, Call the Midwife, Revolutionary Road) through the Lighthouse Guiding Lights programme and has gone on to pay it forward as an official mentor of the BUMBLE Female Film Force alongside Emily.

Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
