Anastasia was born is a family of a military officer and spent her early years on the road and changing a lot of cities and counties. The constant change made Ana adapt to any situation, environment and friends and quickly became an actress by instinct. Her dad was very big on sport, and he instilled this in Ana. She was a very active kid growing up and tried every sport possible - from cross country and water skiing to badminton and paddle boarding. Dance also has always been a huge part of her life. Ana has been trained in classic ballet as a child, then did theatre dance and jazz, and now is dedicated to heels dance. Ana went to a school with an artistic emphasis where she studied piano and got into theatre. Her first role was Mercutio in "Romeo and Juliet" musical. The company traveled with this piece all over Europe, participated and won many youth international festivals. At the age of 16 Ana started to model and made a dizzying international career working all over the world from Paris and London to Beijing and Cape Town and gracing all biggest fashion magazines' covers. After traveling around the globe moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting career. Graduated from Baron Brown studio, Ana studied under Howard Fine, Larry Moss and Aaron Speiser. Thanks to her iron discipline, incredible work ethic and dedication Ana booked roles in Disney tv series Just Roll with It, big studio projects Babylon, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F and numerous independent movies. Her athlete's mentality and ability to transform like a chameleon makes her one of the most promising actress of her generation. - IMDb Mini Biography By: Pierre Partick
Most data and links to images for the Movies section come from TheMovieDB (TMDB).
Additional data for Film Titles come from The Open Movie Database (OMDb).
At least one plug-in comes from IMDb.
Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:
Regarding profile removals and data corrections:
Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
Whether or not he still clings to an award which he won in 1986 as a film critic for his college's newspaper, Jeffrey Hartmann is not responsible for the texts of overviews and biographies supplied by external data sources.
