LU MENDOZA, 29 (GUADALAJARA, MEXICO) Actress, teacher, manager, producer and researcher of the body. Dedicated to the theoretical, practical community of the body, anthropology is the discipline in which he has for the development of body, body-community research methodologies and body-performance.  Her training consists mainly of the Grotowski’s Laboratory Method, the Anthropological Theatre and the Experimental Dance. She has had practical approaches of body research methods such as Meyerhold Biomechanics, Dance Butoh and Somatic Dance, Vertical Daza, Clown technique and Yoga.  FOUNDER of Acantilado Lunar in 2020, producer of performing arts and audiovisual.  Coordinator of Art and Culture at the Community Center La Colmena San Juan de  Dios, where she activates and detonates artistic community activities and sociocultural activities.  Among their productions highlights the one-person BEHIND THE DRESSES BROKEN 2021, result of his research work in the Laboratory Theater Rabinal where he has lived since 2018.  She has had the opportunity to participate in important meetings, such as the 1st National Meeting of Participating Theatres in Oaxaca (2019), the Festival International Community Theatre ENTEPOLA in Aguascalientes (2017), as well as the First Intercultural Festival of Guadalajara with JIU (Urban Indigenous Youth, 2018) in Jalisco.  Has a degree in the Professional in Theatrical Art of CEDART "José Clemente Orozco" of the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature and is an active student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of Guadalajara.

Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).

Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
