Marina Sergeevna Abrosimova (by mother - Maksimova), was born in the city of Kazan, Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR - russian singer, lyricist and music producer. Honored Artist of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic (2013), Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan (2016). Success came to the singer with the release on March 28, 2006 of the Album "Difficult Age", which sold over 1.5 million copies, and in 2007 MakSim became a successful successful singer in Russia. MakSim of Europe won in the nomination "Best Performer" at the MTV Russian Music Awards and Muz-TV Awards. On February 2, 2008, at the annual award ceremony of the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper "Soundtrack", the singer won the Best Performer of the Year nomination. MakSim received more than a dozen Golden Gramophone statuettes. The second album of the singer, "My Paradise", sold over 1.3 million copies. The total circulation of the sold albums of the singer, amounting to more than six million copies. MakSim is the only singer whose 7 singles consistently took first place in the general radio chart of the CIS countries. In December 2009, he released the third studio album of the singer - "Single", which received a gold status and two platinum. Since 2013, MakSim has released three more albums: Another Reality, Good, and Polygamy. MakSim was included in the rating of "The Most Influential Women of Russia", compiled in 2011 by the Ekho Moskvy radio station, RIA Novosti, Interfax news agencies and "Ogonyok" magazine.

Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
