Tõnu Tamm (November 22, 1942 Tartu - August 14, 2021) was an Estonian actor and artist.  Tõnu Tamm graduated from Tartu 1st Secondary School in 1961 and from Tallinn State Conservatory's Performing Arts Department 2nd year in 1965. After graduation, the theater troupe assembled from the graduates of the 2nd year of the Department of Performing Arts started working in the National Youth Theater of the Estonian SSR, created under the leadership of Voldemar Panso. Tõnu Tamm worked there as an actor until 1975.  In 1975-1976, he worked in the Viru variety show.  From 1976 to 1992, he was an actor at the Estonian Drama Theater, and from 1977 to 1988, he was also an assistant director. In the years 1994–1998 he worked as an actor in the Estonian Puppet and Youth Theater and in the years 1999–2010 as a director's assistant in the Estonian Theater.[2]  In 2013, he published a book about dance teacher and choreographer Helmi Tohvelman - "Helmi, teach us to dance!".  Tõnu Tamm was also involved in painting, his paintings of orchids are well known. He was also a member of the Estonian Orchid Protection Club from 1968.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
