A work in constant progress (and occasional regress).

David Charles Warren III
 David Warren
David Charles Warren is a stunt performer and actor. His early work in television included performing stunts on series such as Legacies (2018–2019), where he served as a stunt double for Peyton Alex Smith, and Black Lightning (2018–2019). Warren’s profile gained significant traction with his entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2021. That year, he contributed to The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021) as both a stunt performer and a stunt double—doubling for Clé Bennett and Anthony Mackie across several episodes. In the same year, he worked on Loki (2021), doubling for Jonathan Majors in the episode “For All Time. Always.” His tenure in the MCU continued as he performed stunts in Hawkeye (2021) and Black Adam (2022), and later appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023) as a stunt performer. Beyond the Marvel and DC universes, Warren has extended his range across various film and TV productions. He took on acting roles such as Yasuke in Yasuke: Descendents (2023) and appeared in We Have a Ghost (2023) as a stunt double. Other noteworthy credits include Ghosted (2023), Road House (2024), and an appearance in the short film Silver Brushes (2025). In television, Warren’s versatility is further reflected in his contributions to series such as Lovecraft Country (2020), where he doubled for Jonathan Majors in several episodes, and MacGyver (2020–2021), where he served as a stunt performer across multiple episodes. He also doubled for Anthony Mackie in Twisted Metal (2023), continued work on True Lies and Gotham Knights (both 2023). He appeared in Them (2021–2024) and Tulsa King (2022) in stunt capacities. Warren’s excellence in his field has been recognised through multiple nominations at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. He has received four nominations for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble: in 2021 for Lovecraft Country, in 2022 for both The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki, and in 2024 for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Most data and links to images for the Movies section come from TheMovieDB (TMDB).
Additional data for Film Titles come from The Open Movie Database (OMDb).
At least one plug-in comes from IMDb.
Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)
While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:
Regarding profile removals and data corrections:
Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
Whether or not he still clings to an award which he won in 1986 as a film critic for his college's newspaper, Jeffrey Hartmann is not responsible for the texts of overviews and biographies supplied by external data sources.
