Lucas di Grassi, born on August 11, 1984, in São Paulo, Brazil, is a professional racing driver known for his success in Formula E and his previous experience in Formula 1. Di Grassi began his career in karting and progressed through the ranks of junior formula racing, eventually joining Formula 1 in 2010 with Virgin Racing (now Marussia). Although his F1 stint was brief, he transitioned to endurance racing and later found a new home in Formula E. In 2014, di Grassi became one of the inaugural drivers in the all-electric Formula E series, competing for the Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler team. He won the Formula E Championship in 2016-2017 and has consistently been one of the top competitors in the series, known for his strategic driving and technical insight.
