Renan Távora Soares has a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from Centro Universitário Una. Partner-producer of Gangorra Filmes, which has made 4 short films, 2 feature films in development and 2 short films in financing. Director and Director of Photography in several university and independent works. He directed photography for the short films: Arteiro (2018) by Bruno Carvalho, which was selected for the 22nd Tiradentes Film Festival; Abdução (2020) by Marcelo Lin, which was the film included in the BDMG public notice to support the 2018 low-budget short film, O Resto (2022) by Pedro Ribeiro, selected at DocLisboa (Portugal), CinePE (Brazil), IndieBH and SP , (Brazil), EntreOlhares (Portugal). In addition to having also photographed the clips “Calma” by Banda Daparte, the clip “Falei Demais” from the partnership between SEST, ClaraXSofia and Marcelo Tofani, the clip "Vem Cá" from the partnership between Chico e o Mar and Belina, also the music video from song "Tu Me Deixou" by the Belo Horizonte artist Malaca and finally the visual album "Gangsta da Roça" by rapper Oreia. He currently works as a second assistant camera and video assistant in advertising work and serial works, having in this position, made the series Minha Música Minha Terra for Disney+, the feature film "The Último Episode" directed by Maurílio Martins by the production company Filmes de Plástico in 2021. In the following year, several works in advertising and the TV series "Azul Celeste" directed by Silvia Godinho by the production company Dromedário Filmes. He has also been working as executive producer of Gangorra Filmes projects, having debuted in the role in the short film Apartamento de Duas, entirely prepared and submitted to FEC 03/2021, which was considered and produced in 2022. In addition, he is in charge of projects for short film Flor e o Jequitibá and Maria Papuda, both in financing, and the feature film Os Figos Que Colhemos Juntas, in development and which was selected for the 14th Brasil CineMundi and FeiraMAX 2023.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
