Wayne Allen is an American actor known for his menacing look and disturbing demeanor in the short film "Meth Monster" (2014) and his intimidating role as Skin Head Duke in the true story Monkey (2012). Wayne Allen was born in Amarillo, Texas on November 15, 1977 and raised in Modesto CA. He is the youngest of six children with two older brothers and three older sisters. His father Danny Allen, a butcher, and his mother Cathy Allen, a Migrant Ed teacher, relocated to Modesto CA early into his childhood. In his younger years, Allen excelled in youth football winning countless athletic awards through his high school years. While maintaining a heavy dedication to sports, also including wrestling and baseball, Allen took an interest in the art of tattooing at age 14. Allen went on to graduate from Grace M. Davis High School in Modesto CA. After many years of honing his craft of tattooing, Allen opened his world famous tattoo shop, Red Dragon Tattoo in Modesto CA, which is still open today. He went on to create and host "Wayne Allen's Ink Master Tattoo Show" which brought thousands of tattoo enthusiasts and world renowned tattoo artists to the Central Valley of California. In 2008, with his tattoo business well established, Allen began performing stand up comedy at local clubs including Modesto's premier comedy club the Phat Kat. He quickly started to make his way through California's Central Valley and Bay Area performing in numerous stand up comedy circuits. Following minor successes in stand up comedy, including performances at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles CA, Allen decided to move to Hollywood CA to pursue his passion for acting and film. Shortly after relocating to Los Angeles in Spring of 2011, Allen auditioned and was accepted at Tony Barr's School For Film Actors. Since then Allen has booked several roles mainly consisting of the antagonist type. Allen's roles range from several Indy films to most recently acting alongside Charlie Hunnam and Marylin Manson for the final season of FX's Son's Of Anarchy (2008).

About the Movie Section

Most data and links to images for the Movies section come from TheMovieDB (TMDB).

Additional data for Film Titles come from The Open Movie Database (OMDb).

At least one plug-in comes from IMDb.

Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Regarding profile removals and data corrections:

  • If you would like your profile removed from this site, please contact the source of this data directly, TheMovieDB. My assumption is: once it's gone from their site, it should soon be gone from this site.
  • If you would like to correct movie data on this site, please contact the source of this data directly, TheMovieDB. My assumption is: once it's corrected on their site, it should soon be corrected on this site.
  • For additional corrections and profile removals, please e-mail The Open Movie Database (OMDb).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).

Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
