Luca Villacis is a young, up-and-coming actor from the United States who is quickly making a name for himself in the entertainment industry. He was born on September 11, 2001, in Miami, Florida, and raised in a Spanish-English bilingual environment. Luca's parents are of Ecuadorian descent, and he has been able to maintain a strong connection to his cultural heritage throughout his life.  Despite his young age, Luca has already been featured in a number of high-profile acting roles. He made his acting debut in 2016 with a supporting role in the independent film entitled "108 Stitches." This led to him being cast as the lead in the 2017 drama "The Year of Spectacular Men," which also featured famous actresses such as Lea Thompson and Zoey Deutsch.  Luca Villacis' most notable role to date, however, was in the critically acclaimed Netflix series "On My Block." He played the character of Oscar "Spooky" Diaz, a gang leader who is both feared and respected by his community. Luca's performance in the series was praised by both audiences and critics, and he quickly became a fan favorite.  As a young and talented actor, Luca Villacis has an incredibly bright future ahead of him. He has already shown an impressive range of acting abilities at such a young age, and he is sure to continue making an impact in the entertainment industry in the years to come. He remains a highly sought-after talent and is sure to attract the attention of many more viewers and fans alike.

Data are -- hey, it's a plural -- subject to the limitations of their sources. (For example, TMDB search results currently max out at 20.) I am limiting myself to free data sources for now. (No, a "free trial" is not free.)

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
