Juli Tapken continues to be recognized as an elite actress in multiple festivals across the country, earning four wins so far and numerous nominations for Best Actress for her roles in Best Picture feature films. She excelled with the challenges of the no-dialogue "Providence" with a critically acclaimed heart-felt dramatic performance being noticed by many in some of the top festivals in the nation, aiding in the feature film receiving Best Picture nominations in a majority of the festivals entered. Most recently she won Best Supporting Actress for her role in "A Second Chance". Her range has been noticed and she is being cast in many upcoming films and television series'. Juli's wide range on screen is strongly assisted by her experiences on stage, just finishing up her fourth Branson live show "Raiding the Country Vault". Juli can be seen on television too. She has performed Co-starring roles on hit TV shows "Nashville" and two episodes of "Homicide Hunter". She is now vigorously pursuing her singing passion in Nashville with Platinum Planet Records with her debut EP "Denim with Diamonds" expecting release soon. She began singing and acting very early as a child in Oklahoma building to lead roles in musical theater classics like Oklahoma, Gypsy and The Diary of Anne Frank leading her to a professional career in Branson, Missouri where she predominantly performed in all three female roles in the hit musical comedy "Smoke on the Mountain". Now, over the last five years, Juli has jumped right into the middle of the film acting genre and has booked more than 40 IMDb credited films and dozens of commercials across the mid-west. The culmination of these experiences has created a very well rounded actress and implanted in her a true professionalism with cast and crew wherever she goes. While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
