Claire  Schwob began his career in broadcasting in 1995 by collaborating among others  with Marcel Jullian to writing novels, films and documentaries for French  television, "the old bear and the child" (France 2), "the novel  of man "(France 5), etc. Upon his  arrival in French Polynesia in 1998 and until today, she directed TV shows  "Mataeina'a tower" (TNTV), "Motu Atea" (Tahiti.tv, TNTV),  "Top class" (TNTV 1st Polynesia), "Hiro's, season 2" (TNTV)  and collaborates with foreign productions from turning the Territory  "Pearls of the Pacific" (TF1), "The Prince of the Pacific"  (film), "Operation Seduction" ( M6), Samsung, Estee Lauder, Saatchi  and Saatchi (commercials), "A fad Mr. Fortune" (France 2),  "Couple retreat" (cinema), etc. at which it changes willingly cap:  casting director, production designer, art director, director. Author and  director of all, strongly committed to French Polynesia, she co-founded in 2008  the first web tv Polynesian Tahiti.tv for which she directed many films. The “A life out there” movie is her first short movie, but it’s also the first time for polynesian actors, technicians and French Polynesia where the film industry is emerging.  Claire Schwob débute sa carrière dans l’audiovisuel en 1995 en collaborant entre autre avec Marcel Jullian à l’écriture de romans, films et documentaires pour la télévision française : « le vieil ours et l’enfant » (France 2), « le roman de  l’homme » (France 5), etc. Dès  son arrivée en Polynésie française en 1998 et jusqu’à aujourd’hui, elle réalise  des émissions télévisées : « Mataeina’a tour » (Tntv), « Motu Atea »  (Tahiti.tv, Tntv), « Top classe » (Tntv, Polynésie 1ère), « Hiro’s, saison 2 »  (Tntv) et collabore avec les productions étrangères venues tourner sur le  Territoire « Les perles du Pacifique » (TF1), « Le prince du Pacifique »  (cinéma), « Opération séduction » (M6), Samsung, Estée Lauder, Saatchi and  Saatchi (films publicitaires), « Une lubie de monsieur Fortune » (France2), «  Couple retreat » (cinéma), etc. lors desquelles elle change volontiers de  casquette : directrice casting, chef décoratrice, directrice artistique,  réalisatrice.  Auteure  et réalisatrice avant tout, fortement attachée à la Polynésie française, elle  cofonde en 2008 la première web tv polynésienne Tahiti.tv pour laquelle elle  réalise de nombreux films.  Le  film "Au large d'une vie " est son premier court-métrage, mais c'est  aussi une première pour les acteurs et les techniciens polynésiens et la  Polynésie française, où l'industrie cinématographique est en train d'émerger.

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).

Whereas the overall purpose of this website is to serve as a personal demo/portfolio/workshop of web and data skills, this Movies section is not meant to compete with or substitute for far more definitive movie websites.
