Chiara Lezzi (born February 27, 1973, in Milan, Italy) is an Italian actress and singer known for her role as Carol in the horror film "The Demon's Child" (also known as "The Solemn Vow"), released in 2022.  Lezzi initially achieved fame as one half of the successful Italian pop duo Paola & Chiara. After a thriving music career, she transitioned more actively into acting.  One of her notable acting roles is as Carol in the film "The Demon's Child" (2022), which is also known under the alternative title "The Solemn Vow". This role showcases her talent in the horror genre.  Beyond this film, Chiara Lezzi's acting credits include:The Broken Key" (2017), "Il ragazzo, della Giudecca" (2016), "Alex & Co." (TV Series, 2015), Where she played Victoria Williams.  She has also appeared in various short films and TV series, including "L'ispettore Coliandro" and "Mare fuori".  In addition to her work as an actress, Lezzi has also ventured into producing and directing, founding her own company, Licantro Bros Film, in 2014. She also returned to her music career, reuniting with her sister Paola in 2022.  Chiara Lezzi continues to be an active figure in the Italian entertainment industry, demonstrating her versatility as both an actress and a singer.

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
