Grégoire Margotton est un journaliste sportif français né le 9 novembre 1969 à Lyon, officiant sur Canal+.   Ancien présentateur de Jour de foot avec Vincent Radureau, il devient le commentateur de l'affiche de Ligue 1 du dimanche soir avec Christophe Dugarry ou Franck Sauzée, Laurent Paganelli et Philippe Doucet. Il présente égalementLa grande soirée de Ligue des champions avec la journaliste Nathalie Iannetta. Outre le football, Margotton est le spécialiste de l'athlétisme sur la chaîne cryptée. Il y commente les meetings de laGolden League en compagnie de Jean Galfione, Renaud Longuèvre et Marc Maury. Il a également commenté ce sport lors des Jeux olympiques de Pékin 2008. Il a enfin commenté les compétitions de tir à l'arc avec Sébastien Flute. Il commente Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 et Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 avec son coéquipier de Canal+ Christophe Dugarry et Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 avec Darren Tulett, et ce, jusqu'à Pro Evolution Soccer 2015. Il fut commentateur de FIFA 2003, FIFA 2004 et FIFA 2005 avec Olivier Rouyer et Rémi Garde. Par ailleurs il écrit en 2002 le texte du film Comme dans un rêve, biographie de Zinédine Zidane. Le 10 mai 2013, il reçoit la Lucarne d'or, récompensant le meilleur commentateur de football. À partir de septembre 2013, il commente la Ligue des champions avec Éric Carrière. Il participe également quelques fois à l'émission Les Spécialistes. Depuis 2014, il commente en alternance avec Stéphane Guy l'affiche du samedi à 17 h et du dimanche soir sur Canal+.

While much of the above data are retrieved directly from outside APIs and other such sources, data from American Film Institute (AFI) and British Film Institute (BFI) were manually entered the old fashioned way into a MySQL database. Re BFI I took the following liberties:

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
