Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy was born on November 12, 1978 in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. She is a producer and director, known for Saving Face (2012), A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness (2015) and Song of Lahore (2015). She's the first Pakistani to win an Academy Award.
