AJ Styles, born Allen Neal Jones, is an American professional wrestler widely regarded as one of the best in-ring performers of his generation. He began his career in the late 1990s, gaining prominence in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he became a cornerstone of the promotion and a multi-time world champion. Styles helped define the X-Division with his high-flying, technical style, and earned accolades for his work in TNA from 2002 to 2014. After leaving TNA, he found success internationally, particularly in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he led the Bullet Club and won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship twice.  In 2016, AJ Styles made his long-awaited debut in WWE at the Royal Rumble, quickly rising to the top of the roster. Within months, he captured the WWE Championship and solidified his place as a main-event talent. Known for his versatility, athleticism, and ability to deliver standout matches with a wide range of opponents, Styles has since become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE. With a career spanning over two decades across multiple major promotions, AJ Styles is celebrated for his consistency, innovation, and influence in modern professional wrestling.

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
