Nimki and Phulki are two mischievous sisters- one tomboyish and the other docile. Their mischief has terrorized the people of Nakulpur village. But their intentions are noble. Their courage helps them to fight against all the wrong done to the villagers. Two wealthy old men in the village, who were cheating the villagers of their belongings, were also their target. These men come to complain against Nimki Phulki to their parents but ends up liking the sisters and proposes to marry them. Overwhelmed by this proposal, their parents agree immediately, thinking that their daughters would be well off with these men despite their age gap. Following futile protests, the sisters eventually succumb to this marriage proposal. But on the day of the wedding, they both run away from the village in their wedding attire. A chain of events follow and they land up in Kolkata. Nimki Phulki go through a makeover and take up jobs to survive in the city.
