Elizabeth II is History in flesh and blood. At 93, the Queen of England still defies time and carries with her the memory of our modern world. Her reign is officially the longest of British monarchy, but her life has never been a long calm river. Between the Brexit earthquake, the hospitalization of Prince Philip, Harry and Meghan renouncing the crown, and the sexual accusations against her favorite son, Andrew, she has recently faced many painful challenges. But the iconic queen remains steadfast. And she is ready for the next round: to manage the successful passing of the Crown. Thanks to archive footage and a few dramatized scenes, together with interviews of those who know the Royal Family best, this history documentary takes a look back at the key milestones of the Queen over the recent years.

  • I added "runners up" to Top 10 lists, treating them as ties where applicable and numbering them accordingly at the bottom of each list.
  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).

Filtering is applied here to film projects flagged as "adult" by TheMovieDB. Pending "popular demand" I am contemplating a login and profile system with preferences (such as whether to allow adult images to appear) and permissions (such as data entry).
