Beautiful Julia, a rich girl who was almost killed in a car accident, falls in love with the man who saved her life by giving his blood. He is a poor haberdasher named Nikos Firfiris. Her fiancé Tzimis, however, is jealous and implicates him in the theft of a very expensive bracelet. Now, Nikos has to prove his innocence in order to restore his honor and reputation and thus regain his place in Julia's heart.
