Based on a true story and real characters, Mehmet Salih recounts the drama of the title character, a quiet, introverted and solitary kid. Mehmet Salih lives with his mother a sick woman who eloped to get married. Altough he wets his bed every night, he tries to stop his mother doing the laundry every day.
Based on a true story and real characters, Mehmet Salih recounts the drama of the title character, a quiet, introverted and solitary kid. Mehmet Salih lives with his mother a sick woman who eloped to get married. Altough he wets his bed every night, he tries to stop his mother doing the laundry every day. At the same time he develops feelings for the neighbour's daughter, Ceylan. Ceylan, also elopes and appears to make a wrong choice. The day his mother dies, Mehmet Salih does not wet himself. Bu her death leaves him compeletly alone. Soon afterwards, Mehmet and Ceylan, start living together and Ceylan gives birth to a son. The fatherless baby is like a mirror image of Mehmet Salih, he himself grew up without a father. Knowing that his father won't come back, Mehmet Salih embarks on a new life with Ceylan and her baby.
