When a golf ball strikes a frog residing in a city park, the creature transforms into a beautiful woman Vasilisa. Ivan, pressured by his wealthy father to get married, seizes the opportunity and presents Vasilisa as his girlfriend. Vasilisa revels in her newfound human life, but as twilight descends, she reverts to her frog form. It is revealed that Vasilisa was cursed by an evil magician. To break the spell and become human once more, she must receive a kiss of genuine love.
