Shooting Star is centered on the young mech pilot D.Va and her mechanic friend Dae-hyun. She recently finished a stunning mission with MEKA when the Gwishin omnics suddenly fly in to attack Busan. She confidently rushes into battle alone to stop them from assaulting her city. Doing this almost leads to her downfall.

Overview from Open Movies

With it's cliché story, that we've seen a thousand times; stereotypical characters; bland dialogue / screenplay and forgettable music - all of those things combined makes it the weakest animated short of Overwatch and the only aspects that can be considered somewhat good is it's animation, sound, acting and cinematography.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
