In a village Uthukuli a girl Durga and her elder brother Saravanan live with their parents. The family lives in a farm house of the landlord Shiva and were farmers for him. One day Durga and Saravanan find a kid on their way to home and taken with them. They named it as Bujji. Drunkard father of the children sold the kid for his drink. Knowing this Durga was upset and eith her urge saravanan and durga start a journey to get back bujji home. On their way they met Dharshini an orphan girl living as a maid with one family. Later she becomes an acquaintance with them, The trio identified the whereabouts of the kid but need money to get it back. Mean while Shiva came to know the children are missing from home. The journey of Shiva searching the children and the journey of Children saving a kid are the rest of the plot.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
