A recipient of a The International Mozart Society award, (Cambridge UK,) Virginia Colliers Chamber Music Award (Washington), Andrew Mellon Fellowship (University of Pittsburg,), Friedheim Award of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington) and the Commission of the prestigious Coolidge Foundation for the Library of Congress) He has also received honors and decoration from many countries as Cuba, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela.

  • Regarding those polls wherein "franchise" movies were submitted as one project until BFI's policy changed to regard them separately, I treated them as ties and renumbered the affected lists accordingly (e.g. the Godfather films).
